My name is Lindsay Westcott, I work from my own modern, state-of-the-art clinic located within Woollams Sports Ground in St. Albans, and offer a variety of chiropody and podiatry treatments to my expanding list of satisfied clients.
As a qualified professional who has worked within the NHS I've built up a broad range of experience in many areas of foot care. I see people suffering anything from athlete's foot and bunions through to sports injuries and ingrowing toenails.
It is a common misconception that podiatrists only work on the feet. We really help with any lower limb problems, including knee and ankle pain. Sometimes, a person may be using their limbs incorrectly or have a postural problem that needs correcting.
I am able to offer help and advice with biomechanics, as well as being qualified to perform cryosurgery and nail surgery. I can also offer a full orthotics service, where I will dispense a specially-designed insole that can help decrease pain, not just within the foot, but also in other areas such as the knees, hips and lower back.
With a client base that ranges from children through to the elderly, I provide a service that covers problems relating to all age groups. I have a good relationship with all my clients, and I make sure that children always feel welcome.
I have much experience with diabetes-related foot problems. It's important that diabetics get their feet checked regularly.
